Feel comfortable in front of the camera. During your engagement photo session, you'll get to know each other with JD. You can choose one or two locations for the photos, and you'll be advised on the best time when the light will be most beautiful and soft.

It depends on whether I have already worked on the chosen venue. I may have to come one or two days before if the wedding takes place abroad. It allows me to save time on the wedding day by selecting the best locations for certain photos.
When do you arrive to our wedding venue ?
I usually work alone but I may have to work with my second photographer for weddings with over 130 guests. This may also the case if several locations are considered and/or if you desire multiple angles of key moments.
Do we really need a second shooter ?
I regularly collaborate with videographers.
Over the years, I've built strong relationships with excellent professional wedding vendors. I'd be happy to help in finding one.
Do you offer wedding video ?
I understand that many couples feel nervous in front of the camera. During our portrait sessions, I provide light direction and try to keep everything relaxed and fun. Engagement sessions are a great way to help you feel comfortable.

I work with a Fuji medium format GFX 50s2, two Canon EOS R6 cameras, a DJI Mavic Pro drone, and multiple lenses.
The photos will then be sorted and edited using Adobe Lightroom.
What cameras do you use ?
I recommend booking at least a year in advance. As I shoot weddings year-round, my busiest months are between May to October. To secure your date in my calendar, a signed contract and a 40% deposit are required.
When do we need to book and what does that require ?
Since every wedding is unique, the number of images can vary based on factors such as the size of the event, the number of locations, and special requests. However, for a comprehensive 12-hour coverage, you can expect a minimum of 600 photos.
How many photos will we get ?
Every image you receive is meticulously edited, ensuring consistency in color, composition, and exposure. This includes photos from any second shooter. My turnaround time is usually 2-3 weeks.
